A New Earth, by Eckhart Tolle and the NEW EARTH STAR HOLOGRAM

This book, A NEW EARTH - Awakening to Your Life's Purpose is one of THE books to read ASAP!

It is certainly a user's guide to the basic essence of spiritual principle embodied within the NEW EARTH STAR HOLOGRAM: the roadmap to personal and planetary Ascension into the NEW EARTH STAR.

In his book, Tolle writes: "As the new consciousness emerges, some people will feel called upon to form groups that reflect the enlightened consciousness."

He goes on to say that this enlightened consciousness has the potential to create vortexes for a planetary shift...BUT, Tolle makes it clear that when he talks about "enlightened consciousness" he really means "enlightened" and not what most in the New Age movement are calling "enlightened." Much if not most of what is being labeled "enlightened" is still in the egoic form: some more, some less, but ego is a driving force of that movement just the same. Ego is not only "out there" it is also "in there" on subtler levels, affecting all we do; and Thoth tells me that in balanced moderation, it is a necessary tool in where we are now, but one that will dissolve more and more as we no longer need it to define our 3D perspective and desires. We will not need it when we become ONE with the TRUE STATE OF OUR BEING, what Tolle is calling the "I AM" beyond the egoic little I self.

Spiritual Networking like the Spirit Mythos Ascension Hologram is a good place to refine our senses, expression of Spirit and our internal focus on the I AM. It is not, in my opinion completely an "enlightened consciousness" network...not yet, not using this termonology as Tolle (and Thoth) defines it in any case. I certainly am not acting fully within the framework of "enlightened conciousness." I have my moments, as we all do - but I have some distance to go in getting my ego out of the way so that I can really experience the "I AM" in myself and in others!

Yet places like Spirit Mythos Ascension Hologram and indeed, Spirit Mythos and Spirit Heart Sanctuary are good starting points. Let us not throw up our hands and say "well after all the time and effort I put into it if I am still not very enlightened, I'll just look elsewhere for some satisfaction in life!" Instead, let us feel uplifted and truly greateful that we have embarked individually and together on a voyage of discovery and great, indeed IMMENSE potential for our Souls in this incarnation.

We recognize "enlightened" - and are on a path to ACCEPT that it IS within us. We no longer need the drive of the ego to find it or build it or restore it. It isn't broken, lost or out of our reach. LOVE NEVER IS, and "enlightened consciousness" is synonymous with LOVE, pure and simple. It is not fuzzy love or clingy love or "I'll love you if you love me." None of this is love...and most of us really know that. We don't have to be told what love really is - not deep down inside. We may do some fancy tap steps around the stage to avoid it, but we really get the picture. Why do we avoid accepting love and GIVING love in it's pure unadulterated state? BECAUSE WE THINK IT IS HARD. WE ARE AFRAID WE MIGHT FAIL. Well it isn't and we won't. We just need to accept, to be grateful, unjudgemental of ourselves and others, consistent in our focus and PATIENT with the process that unfolds within us.

In A NEW EARTH, Tolle writes about the spiritual philospher and teacher, J. Krishnamurti who once asked his audience, "Do you want to know my secret?" Of course everyone there was silent and rapt in attention with anticipation. After a dramatic pause, the Teacher spoke: "This is my secret. I don't mind what happens."

To me, this is the true "SECRET" of living and being an enlightened soul on earth!

I totally agree with the point Tolle, you and Thoth make, that "enlightenment" is usually seen by us a tool to be "different" from others, and the problem is that the line between "different" and "superior" is subtle.
I think one of the keys to overcome this state is to think, in the first place, that ascension is a stage all of us humankind are experiencing, not some state reserved for a privileged minority; the fact that the person next to me doesn't believe in the New Age stuff doesn't mean his/her experiences aren't leading him/her towards the same goal. Secondly, we must remember what Thoth explains about evolution, that it is not a ladder or a linear race as we would like to see it, but an expansion of consciousness, of spiritual experiences.
I think it is also important for us to understand this egoic path we have chosen has to do with an already old conception that God is some kind of furious father or judge ready to punish us eternally in Hell if we do something wrong; therefore, we are happy to be better than anyone else because we are going to Heaven. Instead, this new era is revealing a loving God that expands his/her own consciousness through each one of us, a God each one of us form, a God-friend or God-brother, a God-self. I think that is the real meaning of the statement "I am God".

Actually "Amen" comes from "Amun" in the temples of Egypt. Still, "old stuff." We need to come up with a new "assignment" to emphasis a statement of Spirit.

wow, beautiful post and beautiful nickname, celeste! I specially like the part where you say enlightenment is different to each generation. For my father (who was 17 by then and hippie) enlightenment was something mysterious, they had leave all normality and functional life in order to be wiser. But for my generation, enlightenment can also be found in normal life.

Hi Maia,
Masks of the ego when we get to a certain level are like wallpaper to our skin. We are so familiar with them they are integrated deeply and we don‘t see them, feel them, or acknowledge them as ego. A few weeks ago I felt deeply the changes that were going on in the store I’m working at and though the word detachment kept coming up, I wasn’t getting “it”. Then, a remembrance of how the Tibetans will come to Santa Fe and for two weeks build the most beautiful, intricate mandala only at the end to blow the sand into the wind came into my awareness. Even things we have worked diligently on and it looking like a true masterpiece is truly impermanent. My mask was sitting there…. “Why bother in the first place. Why create if it is to be impermanent and I am to be detached from it? “ In other words why even Create at all? The original mask that not only didn’t like change, but would defend righteously everything I had created was also hiding a very deeper fear of seeing Creation changing and not wanting to participate. How many lifetimes have I sat with this thought seeping into my skin not wanting to create knowing it would go into the wind?

I watched as the weeks progressed and my new creations at the store became my sand mandalas. Lovingly created but also with a sense of the impermanence of the creation. I no longer fought putting my energy into what I was creating, but enjoying the Present Moment of the Creation. I found a place where the masks were not dictating and telling me “why bother”.

When Krishtimurti says his secret is his mind doesn't "mind" what happens, says to me he no longer is attached to any masks. Whatever the moment brings he is able to be in his natural state of being.

Maybe the reason the Spirit has to endure so many masks is precisely to learn to be All and Nothing at the same time.

I have a Tarot deck, and just some weeks ago I was thinking that Tarot is like life itself: a card game, like poker, in which a single player uses many cards to move forward in the game, but nevertheless, it is still one player. For the beginner, the one that hasn't got the complete picture, the player would become each card he uses, but for the Spirit, is simply one player using different cards in different moments of the game.

Maybe the key is what you said, the player must learn to be detached from the cards so he can finally embrace them all and win the game.

Giselle, you mention Tarot...

I was using a a tarot deck one years ago, and I asked Thoth how I should draw from this particular deck, as it was new (what spread I should use) and he replied, "just look at the cards and choose the ones you want." I was SHOCKED at first, but of course now I understand. It could be seen as the "sand painting" - choosing how we wish to create it (or rather our "I AM" choosing it) and then it dissovles into the next stage of being...and so do we.

Dear Gesille and Maia,

I’d like to give you an example of masks and my understanding of working with them. Because one of my father’s is so defined it is the one I’ll use. My father would use anger to frighten anyone. It was a powerful mask for him. My mother’s response to his anger was all most always finding an excuse for him being tired, stressed, etc…the list was long. He would finally at sometime reveal he had made a mistake. Let’s follow the trail of masks that are created here: a mask that says “I cannot make a mistake”… a mask that says “I will be judged for my mistakes” …. “ a mask that says “I am in control” . Most likely the masks came in because there were consequences for making a mistake. He brings in a mask protecting himself. Somewhere in his life an anger mask must have worked and it did with my mother. He now has a mask that frightens , makes him feel powerful again, and in control. Because the anger was not judged in a negative way, the mask found a way of making a mistake in a loving manner: “I am stressed I am tired. Take pity on me ”. He then could say he made a mistake.

In the case with my father not being able to make a mistake, the upside of the mask was he investigated and was able to look at situations very a variety of positions. The downside was the mask that didn’t allow his reasoning to make any mistakes. The final decision was the final decision. If mistakes were found the other masks knew what to do. He even had a mask where his anger outbursts on another human being was not his fault. He was the abused one. Masks are very creative !!!!

Masks take a lot of energy from us. In one sentence: I made a mistake. Because the ego was not going to allow him to make a mistake and be judged a whole lot of masks had to come in and do their work. The more you get into masks you begin to see how a family dynamic is created as individuals in the family and as the collective. We all ended up creating masks of not wanting to be judged or ever making a mistake and not knowing how to deal with anger. Taking it further we can begin to understand how blind beliefs of the collective society can take root and how difficult it is to break through these masks. Masks really and truly believe they are protecting you. It is their job. At some point, though, we are no longer little children afraid of the consequences of making a mistake. It is when we see this part of ourselves we are able to thank the masks and ask them to leave. And, thanking them is important. They did protect us.

When I first began doing my own mask work, my mask of not having masks was firmly in place. I ended up calling that one my “spiritual arrogance mask”. I had done so much spiritual work and meditation that I couldn’t possibly have any masks left…ego. After the week end class and the months to follow I stopped counting all of them. Some were little Others had masks within masks within masks within masks. At times I got tired of the whole thing and didn’t care if I had any or not. Yet, there is something inside of us that keeps us going. You even find the energy to do the wallpaper masks !!!!

Thank you for allowing me the space to share this information I was surprised my writing of another person’s masks was the only thing that came into my mind. I have pages upon pages of my own to tell. My father died five years ago on March 19th and he died with all of his masks still in place. The roles everyone played in the family in place as well…. except for me. One of the hardest things for me has been seeing the masks of others and not playing the mask role of “mask detective” for them. I found it began creating new masks in them to protect the other masks.

Ahhh, such webs we weave! Especially when we devise our "spriitual paths" all neatly in place (I have done my share of that!).
