Going Forth With The Gods - The Archetypes

In working with the Sacred, one enters the realm of what we shall call here ‘mentors’ and ‘archetypes’. Mentors are all manner of ensouled or angelic beings of Light who are in your space to assist you on your journey. Archetypes are somewhat more difficult to comprehend in our way of thinking. There are various levels of archetypes, the more mundane definition being any composite of attributes which is identified in a specific symbology, and further, repeatedly accessed in a determinate focus by many minds. Under this umbrella of definition, such divergent forms as ‘Coca-Cola’ and ‘Michael Jackson’ could both qualify as archetypal presentations. But as we move deeper into the Presence which encompasses the science of archetypification, we find much more ancient and powerful archetypal beings. We must use the word ‘beings’ loosely in regard to our understanding, but they are a form of sentience which has been created in various ways. To further clarify, I have put together a basic definitive of these types . . .

Thanks for this article, Maia. I was specially attracted to it, since I am a writer and a screenplay writer, and I work with archetypes as well in the process of creating characters and stories. As strange as it seems, I don't quite understand what an archetype is, but in my experience it is some kind of force or energy that somehow "takes me" and "tells me" what personality and what actions I must assign to a specific character, as well as "what happens" next in the story.

As I have found out, the hardest thing is to start writing, that is, to summon the archetypes, because your mind is blank. But then, as you focus again and again on the same story and characters, you begin to percieve images, scents, feelings and actions, just like an inner movie. That's when you know this archetypes are finally coming to you. Once you start writing, you must let them show you what story must be told and how it ends.
Of course, this process is slow and cannot be done when you have a client pressing you to complete a commercial script in record time.

But I have come to realize true works of art, true artistic pieces, require that the artist accesses this strange realm of the archetypes. For me, every story I create is a journey into these energies, a joruney that changes me in many ways and guides my life in paths I can't understand. I can only feel.

Beethoven used to say "music is the language of the gods". I apply this to all arts, because I truly think archetypes is the fire language, the magikal language in which the gods and godesses create worlds and universes. I can't explain why I say this, but I feel it.
