Do you have a kennel with several pets? About a month ago I had to have my gracious King put to sleep. He had developed a couple of severe herniated discs in his neck. It came on all of a sudden and I did everything I could to save him including an operation but the vet couldn't get all the damge out. I still can't believe he's gone. In many ways he's still right here beside me. I set up an alter just for him and light a candle every night. He was my best friend and a most gracious spirit. I miss him and pray he's comforted.

Juli, I think that says a lot! MANY people on this planet (including me) have great difficultly "being here." And that is JUST where we need to be or we wouldn't BE here! But we are always thinking about being somewhere else...the future...another dimension, etc. These thoughts can be expanding, BUT only if we maintain "HERE" as our baseline, and that is often difficult to do. So I commend you on saying (and feeling): "I AM HERE."
