Bombing the Moon

Not to upset anybody on this fine, beautiful day, but some news of import, shield yourself, friends:

Nasa is bombing the Moon! that's right, pretty crazy, isn't it?

Nasa sent up the rocket in July, 2009, and it will land and explode on our precious Moon October 9, 2009.

I myself feel this is a terrible desecration of a rather sacred planet. The Moon rules the ocean's tides, women's cycles, and inspires/connects to the wisdom, hopes, dreams and wishes of humans. There is plant life and the animals to be considered.

They're spending a ridiculous sum (is it $500 million?) to do this -- better spent on America's homeless. And for what? "..to see if there's water" ...probably because they couldn't test this bomb on the Earth's surface.

I apologize to the sensitive membership of AHN, as am I myself, for the negative shock of this post, but it seems certain that an effect will be felt, if only in our collective psyche.

I suppose we can petition to Nasa to stop this, but I don't think they can, even if they would. What I am doing is a lot of healing prayer for the Moon to prepare and endure this event (or even to just move aside, somehow, a few thousand miles out of range of proposed landing). Please join me in an appreciation of our beautiful Moon.

I ran into a French/Mayan priestess from Guatemala at the Annual Gathering of Tewa Women here in the Santa Fe area over the weekend. She keyed me right in to how to work with this....which is very clear, specific thoughtforms of healing, loving & protection towards our Moon. (perhaps similar to guidance given in Sandy Medine's post on Karen Bishop's "Separation of the Worlds"). It is like birthing, gestating...should any of you wish to assist in "healing the Moon".

i just read the blog 2 down from this one, Zulma's, on the Divine Protector. so, in resonance, about the cautious focus of our meditations and prayers, i urge that as well, due to the negative nature of this event. just loving, healing prayers for the Moon's well being...
