Shadow people or Shadowers

Shadow people or Shadowers are some of the most frightening sightings that have been experienced over the years.
The information here on shadowers is not the gospel, as there isn’t one for this type of phenomena, and anyone who tells you there is, is lying, as the experiences vary from one person to the next (normally depending on the mind state or beliefs of the experiencer).

Here are some theories and Occult ideas on such things.

The most common characteristics of most shadow person sightings are a feelings of impending doom, depression or intense fear that seemed to radiate from the being itself, although there are always some examples that contradict the rule, as few say the experience was in fact positive, and that they had a feeling of complete calm.

Most people believe they are all demons, but the only reason for this (I believe) is because most of society have been programmed to associate darkness/shadow with evil, so fear will always be the deciding factor of the experience because they manifest it as dark and evil in their mind, so will manifest it as such, so many of these sightings could just be a projection of the observers mind state, which would indicate its not so much the being causing the negative feelings, but the persons own prejudiced that a dark figure can only be evil, but this is not to say that they are not evil or even demonic, as in many cases they very well could be, but again there are reports of the same entity being seen that one time could be black, another grey, and in another case white or as light.

Another reason spirits could be seen as dark that my study of the occult would point to, is that the colour of the spirit is representing the mind set of the spirit itself, for example, if a spirit is negative ie, anger, hate, fear ect then it will manifest itself as that colour. And the same with positive emotions, love, happiness and joy ect will show a spirit in more lighter vibrant colours. Or it could just be that a spirit will simply show itself in a dark colour in daylight and a light colour at night simply because they are going to be more easily seen that way, and might be spirits looking for attention.

Shadowers have also been connected to "Sleep paralysis" and the "old hag syndrome". Many people believe that shadowers are some form of alien race that are invisible to most, and are studying human kind and can be seen by some people, for what reason it is unknown.

Shadowers are reported as small as 4 feet tall to 17 feet tall, possibly even taller.

It could be that these entities are possibly from a dimension that is void of light, again whether they are demons or evil spirits is debatable, but many experiences are not pleasant.

Someone I know when she was a teenager before I was born was walking down an alleyway that ran down the side of a park that’s known for dark occult activities in London with her sister, when suddenly at the end of the alleyway they saw a strange shadow that was standing stationary looking at them, she and her sister stopped walking to try and better make out what it was, or who it was, when suddenly it rapidly started to walk towards them at great speed, frozen with fear they just stood there and faced the oncoming figure, when the dark figure got closer she said that it looked like a gorilla type figure with its hands longer that they should be and where drooped forward dragging along where the ground level was, just like a gorilla would, she said when the figure had got just in front of them it was around 12 to 14 feet tall, and as it passed them it knocked them both off there feet, she said it was as if a wind had knocked them over, not a physical being. As it passed and disappeared behind them they said it was making a terrifying moaning or growling sound. Also Shadowers can show them selves in just dark mists, or forms of energy.

Another scary theory is that shadowers can take on any form they wish, including people you know and trust. Many Occultists believe that Shadow people are advanced " Demonic thought forms" seen also in the article on spirits, where I go deeper into the theory more.

Some believe shadowers are inter-dimensional beings, meaning they are from another reality, a dimension of darkness where light is void. Of course many will say these are demons, but there is no evidence to say that they are, only speculation based on religious mythology. But again it could well be demons, but not all experiences are said to have been scary and negative, although its more common that they are.

Another belief is that these things are demonic thought forms, or “astral larvae“, they are said to be created by human thought, normally negative, and the actions that cause suffering. Many hauntings that involve these dark beings have a history of things happening on the location such as murder, rape, and other destructive things, its said that the result of the energies that these events cause create a dark consciousness, that can then feed on its environment and grow in consciousness, becoming more and more powerful over time, which is also connected to ‘psychic vampirism‘. Its why when some people enter a haunted location they can feel drained and ill, and batteries can drain, the demonic thought form is draining energy around itself to be able to survive in the location that it dwells in. They are said to also feed of emotions like hate and fear, so people who go into a location angry or fearful are leaving themselves open to a psychic attack from such a being.

These kind of demons created by the thoughts and actions of humans will normally die out and vanish if they have the sources of energy taken away from them, because if they don’t have their life force (human emotional energy), they become weak and vanish back into the astral.

These kinds of beings thrive around destructive relationships and family situations that are negative like alcohol abuse or drug abuse and an argumentative environment or with physical abuse ect, as the negativity involved can give it what it needs to grow. In fact some believe homes that have negative things like alcoholism and drug addiction can give birth to one of these energy forms that can manifest into a conscious thinking being, set on the nature it was created as, negativity. Its why many haunted locations that have dark beings present have a history or murder, child abuse, or other negative things.

These demons are not said to have free will, and they are not "fallen angels", they are the result of human kind, in a sense humanities personal demons, they are just acting in the manner in which they were created. Evil actions and thoughts gave birth to them, so evil is what they will thrive on and will be their nature.

Some can be trapped in the locations they were created in, and some can attach themselves to the person who created them, making that living person become a ‘psychic vampire’ themselves, which will make that person drain peoples energy that are around them. Have you ever known people who always make you feel drained to be around? Its like they make you ill and you don’t know why? Like they are hard work? These people are always negative people who could have astral larvae attached to them.

Many places or the religious persuasion can have dark entities in them, which might sound ironic, but when you consider these theories it makes sense, some religious people thrive on fear and anger, hence why some religious places of worship might attract demonic activity.

I believe because of these things that I stated above, is why I believe we should all be careful with our thoughts and actions, as we don’t know what we might be creating into our lives or homes.

Shadowers are mostly seen by people out of the corner of there eye.
These shadowy entities are said to cause people to have bad nightmares unless they are banished from the location or person.
